31st July to 2nd August, at The Beehive, Tickets: Adults £8, Children £6 (Family discount available)

This collaboration between amateur theatre groups in Honiton is headed up by the Honiton Pantomime Society fresh from their successful run of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at the Beehive in February. This musical version of the classic C. S. Lewis novel is a beautiful, modern adaptation of one of England’s best loved books.

Adapted for the stage by Theresa Heskins with music by James Atherton, this play with music is the perfect outing for the whole family. Featuring mythical beasts, a magical world and one gigantic wardrobe, you won’t be able to resist being drawn into the magical world of Narnia.

Here’s a gallery of production images from the show;

When the Pevensie children are evacuated from London to escape the blitz, they never expected their stay in the country home of a wise professor to be quite as eventful as it turned out to be. When Lucy steps inside the ancient dusty wardrobe, little did she know that she had changed her family’s lives forever.

Mr Tumnus brings Lucy on a journey to a world she will never forget. The sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve discover that all is not as it seems in Narnia and the White Witch is on their case. But Aslan is on the move and the answer to the problem lies not at the castle of Cair Paravel but at the Stone Table and as winter melts away to reveal spring an epic battle of good and evil takes place.

Take a journey through the wardrobe into the magical world of Narnia and experience the classic novel brought to life on stage in a stunning production.
